Yellow Leaf Hammocks

We're still working up our take on this deal. (Sometimes it takes us a little bit.) However, you might find our quick take interesting in the meantime. Check back when we've updated this deal to see all of our thoughts.

Yellow Lead Hammock is a company that was created in order to support living wage workers in South East Asia, specifically Thailand. These workers had previously been indentured workers before a non-profit helped them to start making hammocks and the husband half of the entrepreneurial husband-wife team was inspired to help them grown the market so as to be able to help more people.

And if the sales are to be believed, the world is quite their oyster. It even sparked a bit of a feeding frenzy when they had offers from Lori, Robert, and guest shark Daniel Lubetzky.

Daniel made the most compelling offer of $1,000,000 so they wouldn't need to fundraise again and, after some back and forth, agreed that 25% was a fair amount of equity in exchange for the money.

Quite the way to end the season for a guest shark
