Potty Safe

We're still working up our take on this deal. (Sometimes it takes us a little bit.) However, you might find our quick take interesting in the meantime. Check back when we've updated this deal to see all of our thoughts.

If Lori isn't careful, she might end up the Toilet Queen instead of the Queen of QVC after investing in this product.

Potty Safe is a product out of Exeter, MO, that aims to help reduce the mess that children make when they're being potty trained and sometimes try and "help" by making a training seat that they can't fling around so much.

Their sales weren't incredible and the husband and wife entrepreneurs were on their way out when Lori suddenly had second thoughts and opening wondered whether they might be a good brand extension to Squatty Potty, a deal she says has now seen $160,000,000 in sales since her investment.

If anything, this deal is exciting just for the update on Squatty Potty but this couple also got a really good deal from Lori who only asked for 5% more in equity than they were willing to give up when they walked in.
