The Factionist
The Factionist is an apparel company in New York, NY, started by a nineteen year old business student at NYU. The goal of The Factionist is to make clothes that are both environmentally friendly and stylish.
Thus far, most sales of The Factionist clothing have been sold through friends and, in the last six months, has resulted in $3,000 worth of sales.
Most of the clothing the Factionist sells are t-shirts that are actually manufactured in Uganda and purchased by the business for custom silk screening. The Factionist does not actually design the t-shirts, their value add is the silk screened socially aware logos that are put onto the shirts.
The limited appear of the clothes and the meager sales are enough for the sharks to walk away from this deal and The Factionist leaves the tank without a deal.
