Father Figure

Father Figure is a company from Madison, WI, that makes "paternity" clothes for dads.

The company produces a line of clothing and accessories designed to make dads with babies "look good and feel good." The entrepreneur demonstrated a shirt with padding built into the shoulder for resting the baby's head on. Other items had patches in strategic places to reduce wear and tear.

The company and clothes were inspired by the entrepreneur having to care for his own son and what he found desirable while doing so. The entrepreneur had been working at Google before leaving to work on Father Figure full time.

The demonstrated shirt costs $76/unit landed and retails for $126.

The the 11 month lifetime of the company, Father Figure has grossed $33,000 in sales. The company raised $30,000 on Kickstarter.

Despite interest, no sharks bit and Father Figure walked away without a deal.
